As the ferry docks in Cirkewwa, Malta, I book an eCab taxi to take me to my next destination, the stunning Solana Hotel in Mellieha.

The first thing that struck me as I travelled towards the ferry terminal headed for Gozo was the greenness of the island of Malta in March!

The old village of Zebbug absolutely oozes charm. It's a perfect haven for lovers of peace and idyllic tranquillity.

Leaving Ta’ Pinu, I head towards #Xlendi ( pronounced Shlendy ) via the small village of Gharb and of course Victoria again

I've risen with the larks today, I'm up, ready and raring to go!
